Emina is a poet, performer and playwright based in Naarm.She graduated with a degree in acting and performance-making at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2014 and Honours in Independent Theatre Practice in 2017, researching artistic synesthesia, tactile poetics and feminine writing. For her, art is a channel for ritual and for romancing with life. Her words lend to perspectives on love, beauty and spirituality. Her practice draws upon her background in acting, creative-writing, devotional bodywork and theatre practice. Her work ranges from spoken word features at open-mic nights, to co-created performance art pieces at conscious wellbeing festivals. She has enjoyed many collaborations with music producers, theatre companies, sound healers and embodiment practitioners.
