Emina is a poet, playwright and actor based in Naarm. She graduated with a degree in acting and performance-making at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2014 and Honours in Independent Theatre Practice in 2017, researching artistic synesthesia, tactile poetics and feminine writing. Some of her theatre performance credits include Bock Kills Her Father (She Said Theatre/La Mama); Roberto Zucco (Le Poulet Terrible/La Mama); Tales of a City by the Sea (Samah Sabawi, La Mama); Hungry Ghosts (Melbourne Theatre Company); Make Me A Houri (La Mama). She recently performed in Poona, an interactive theatre performance which was part of Next Wave Festival.

Emina is a regular producer and performer of her own content. Her work ranges from poetry features at open-mic events and conscious festivals, to artistic collaborations with electronic music producers, wellbeing spaces and feminine embodiment practitioners. Her creative expression contours around provocations of sensuality, sacred relationships and spiritual healing. She is a proud member of MEAA and the Actor’s Equity.
